Candy Creators: The Real Performers Behind Candy Shorts

When the faces stopped being invented

For most of its life, Candy was a place where every character was made up. Then the Creators tab appeared, and suddenly the cards had names I recognized from a very different part of the internet. Riley Reid. Mia Malkova. Sophie Dee. Bonnie Blue, whose card lists a tally that is really a boast. The deal is straightforward: the performer licenses her likeness and personality, Candy builds an AI version of her, and fans can chat with it, trade photos, and in four cases watch her in a Shorts series.

Chat profiles versus series

Every creator on the roster has a chat profile. That is the core of the product: a conversation with an AI modeled on someone real. Only four have series, and those series are the most expensive thing in the Shorts library. The other seven performers, including Alexis Ivyedge, Ava Starz and Celine, are chat-only at the moment. Candy also teases a live cams feature with creators, marked as coming soon when I last looked.

Are they worth the higher price?

It depends on why you are here. If the name is the draw, the creator series are the only place on Candy to see that performer in a scripted story, and 90 tokens for a full five-part run is the price of that. If you just want a good story, the Candy originals give you two and a half chapters for every one creator chapter. I split the difference on my best series list: three creator titles made it, against seven originals.
